Rainy Day free printables

April showers bring May flowers!  Rainy day days can be so much fun with rainy day printables and some indoor activities.  I made these letter, counting and coloring practice worksheets for my 4 year old.  We are still working on letter recognition and strengthening his pencil grip with coloring.  Learning can be fun I just need to switch things up every once in a while so I decided to make some playdoh mats too.   Read below to find out how you can grab my FREE rainy day printables!

Helpful supplies:

Pocket protectors

If you don’t have a set of these pocket protectors I hight recommend that you pick up a set.  I like to print out the packet of practice worksheets and insert them into these pocket protectors.   My son can practice writing and coloring with dry erase markers and crayons as many times as he wants.  Just switch them up when you feel he/she has mastered the worksheet or wipe away and practice again.  I like that my son can use it over and over again and I do not need to re print the sheets!

Dry Erase Markers & Crayons

These crayola dry erase marker and crayon set have been used daily for years.  I’ve replaced them a few times but they have held up really well through four kids so far.  I’ve picked up a few sets from the dollar store and target dollar spot over the years as well but paired with the pocket protectors these are a staple in my homeschool supply list.

Counting:

These sheets are perfect for practicing counting, basic addition and subtraction!  My 4 year old needed help with this but it was a great way to introduce the addition and subtraction concepts.

Letter Practice

These sheets are perfect for beginning letter recognition and learning the names of Zoo animals!
