To brine or not to brine? My suggestion is to brine because the extra effort gives the turkey breast extra flavor and is worth it in my opinion. After a few moves we decided to not go home for the holiday so being away from family, I remember my husband and I making our first turkey. Neither of us had ever had to make one before on our own. We decided to combine a few recipes and were pleasantly surprised that it turned out delicious. The following year my brother joined us for Thanksgiving and we repeated all the steps and again were pleasantly surprised by the outcome. I am convinced it’s because we bought a good turkey and took the time to brine it.
