One of the things I’ve seen floating around Pinterest and IG are these adorable wands for every holiday or season!  They look so cute and my kids love pretend play so I planned to make these bunny wands.  My older kids are probably too old but I couldn’t resist making them one as well.  This simple and fun DIY will provide hours of entertainment for my littles.  Read below to see how I made them!

What You’ll Need:

  • Felt
  • Stick
  • Thread and needle
  • Glue or hot glue
  • Cotton ball or pom pom
  • Printer
  • Scissors
  • Pen/pencil

What To Do:

If you do not have thread and needle I would assume glue or hot glue gun would work ok.  I was able to find the felt and wand sticks at my local Dollar Tree but you could also find them at your local craft store or order online.

Step 1

Print out the bunny template Click here.

Trace onto your piece of felt and cut out.

Step 2

Attach the tail (cotton ball or pom pom) with thread or glue.

Step 3

Start sewing the two pieces together and stop halfway to ‘stuff’ the bunny.  I used cotton balls to stuff inside and then continue sewing or glue to almost closed.  Leave a small gap at the bottom to insert your wand stick.

Step 4

Secure your wand stick with glue and/or thread to complete your bunny wand.

Step 5

Tie some decorative yarn or ribbon to the base of the bunny to dress up your wand (optional).  These make a great Easter basket filler too!
