Stephanie It’s May! Spring is definitely here and with the warmer weather we have gone for some more walks. The boys had fun decorating easter eggs with this painted pasta so I made this butterfly sheet for him to decorate. We went over the letters sounds and the letters to spell B-u-t-t-e-r-f-l-y and then he wrote it out as well. What You’ll Need:
Painted pasta (check out this post for instructions)
Glue
Free printable butterfly template
Pencil
What To Do:
Print out the free printable butterfly template.
Lay out your supplies – pencil, painted pasta, glue and let their creativity flow!
When he was done gluing the pasta I drew little antennas on the butterflies with a sharpie.
This was the perfect quick and easy morning activity. I love that it was an easy clean up and will think of other things to do with he leftover painted pasta!
