Quick & Easy Beef and Broccoli

Weeknights are busy!  Whether you are getting off work to fight traffic to get home or have kids in multiple after school activities, I’ve got a quick & easy dinner idea that is surely going to be a hit!  I serve it over rice for my big family of 9 but you could cook up more veggies, add to some noodles or whatever your diet and preferences tend to be.  This quick & easy beef and broccoli uses grass fed ground beef that was just delivered to my door in my recent Butcher Box.  Easy, convenient and affordable this pork + beef box came with a free Turkey just in time for the holidays!

What You’ll Need:

1.5-2 lbs Grass Fed Ground Beef

1 Onion (diced)

1/2 tsp Ginger (powder or freshly grated)

2 c Broccoli (cooked)

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1/2 c Soy Sauce

3 tbsp Brown Sugar

1/2 Red Pepper Flakes

4 cloves Garlic (minced)

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of Pepper

 

What To Do:

Heat up frying pan with vegetable oil and sauté your onions and garlic.  Add in ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes and cook until done.  Add in broccoli, pinch of salt and pepper.  Mix together and serve over rice, noodles or eat as is.
