Yarn Craft Ideas Valentines Edition

It is hard to believe February is just around the corner when we just celebrated the new year but we are more than halfway through January already!  February is a fun month for us bringing us Chinese New Year, my second child’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, and my dads birthday.  If you’ve been here a while you’ll know I love to craft so today I’m sharing a few yarn craft ideas Valentines edition!  Yarn wrapped hearts, yarn garland and more.  Scroll down below to get some fun craft ideas!

Yarn Hearts

Yarn hearts are budget friendly and easy to make.  Throw them in a bowl, hang on the wall or arrange into a garland or wreath to decorate!  I got these wooden heart cutouts and yarn from the dollar store but you could use cardboard and leftover yarn too.  Switch up the colors or choose a neutral palette and it can be used anytime!

String Art Heart

Quick and simple this upcycled string art heart was a fun activity to do with the kids!  Using pallet wood boards to make the sign then nails to create a heart shape the kids strung embroidery thread but you could use yarn to make a fun string art heart sign!
